ZumaCats

Based in Malibu California, ZumaCats serve up fresh Jazz with an edgy surf/rock" vibe".

Brett Houston-Guitar and vocals

A founding member of Midnite Radio (which would later become Zwol's Mob) Brett Houston began a solo career after the group self destructed during a torrid US tour.

Midnite Radio, (which he started in Paris France as an eclectic, acoustic rock trio), enjoyed a small but loyal following, performing throughout Europe and the US. They released a few independant recordings and were featured on various radio programs as well as MCM, Europes best music video channel..

Brett is now in Los Angeles, in addition to his work as a solo artist he started the unique jazz group, The ZumaCats; who recently performed for 7,000 people (including Gene Simmons (KISS bassist), LA Mayor Villaraigosa and actor Billy Bob Thorton) at the LA Convention Center for the LA Auto Show Sneak Preview Night, a formal charity bash benefitting Homeless Healthcare.

Additionally, Brett enjoys working as a film composer/songwriter as well as music director for Vista Del Mar, a treatment center/school for "special needs" teens.

Graham Jackson-Piano

Graham Jackson teaches Literature Criticism at the L.A. County High School for the Arts, and acting at Pasadena Junior Theatre. He is a member of the award winning Zoo District Theatre Co., and FSHA.

Graham is currently musical director of "If All the Stars were Pretty Babies" with Sam Shelton, and Zooey Deschanel. Graham has played piano since he was five, and has musically directed numerous shows for several companies.

He was last seen in Toga, Japan, with the hit show "Go True West".

Gary Viggers-Upright Bass

Gary has been playing in Los Angeles for over fifteen years. He has been active in the local rock scene, performed in a number of musical theatre productions, and is now sinking his teeth in jazz. Gary has performed in rock clubs such as Spaceland, The Whiskey, and The Roxy, larger venues like the El Rey Theatre, The Henry Fonda Theater, and The Palace, as well as private parties and events in locations as diverse as the legendary Al's Bar to The Camarillo State Mental Hospital.

Gary has toured the West Coast and has played the annual South by Southwest Music Conference in Austin, Texas. He is currently a member of Flipside Records recording artists The Abe Lincoln Story, holds the bass chair of the 1920-40s cabaret act If All the Stars Were Pretty Babies [featuring Samantha Shelton and Zooey Deschanel], and is a member of The Zoo District Theatre Company.

Gary's day-job is teaching mathematics to at-risk teens at a Los Angeles Opportunity School.

Steve Delollis-Drums

Steve DeLollis began playing drums at the age of six. Growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio he played in concert, jazz, marching and rock bands in high school before moving to the Chicago area to earn a degree from Northwestern University and gig around town. He now resides in Los Angeles, and divides his time between live performances, studio recordings and teaching.

Steve's stylistic diversity is exemplified by his work with both the Pretty Babies Torch Singers' repertoire of 20s-'40s era standards (featuring actress/singer Zooey Deschanel) as well as his current recording work with Greg Ginn, the guitarist and founder of the seminal punk band Black Flag. He can also be found laying down tribal funk grooves for Nike Fitness Academy dance classes.

It's a little known fact that Steve is also a licensed pyrotechnician, having blown up, burned or otherwise destroyed countless objects for the silver screen.
